Crafternoons

Ages: 11-18

Crafternoon is a fun, hands-on program where tweens and teens can relax, hang out, and make something awesome. Each session features a different craft or DIY project, with all materials provided. No experience needed—just bring your imagination and be ready to get crafty!

A hand holds a copy of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins with the entire book cover decorated in rhinestones. The rhinestones recreate the black background, the yellow mockingjay emblem, and red circular accents, giving the cover a sparkling, textured look.

Add some sparkle to your shelf! In this Crafternoon we will make Bedazzled Book Covers, teens will turn real book covers into dazzling works of art using rhinestones and gemstone adhesives. Participants can bring a favorite book from home to decorate or choose from a selection of leftover book club copies provided. This hands-on session focuses entirely on rhinestone design—no other embellishments—so everyone can experiment with patterns, borders, titles, and glittering accents to make their book truly shine. All rhinestones and materials are supplied. Perfect for teens who love crafting, customizing their belongings, or giving a beloved book a whole new look!
