Event Details
Critters and More is an interactive educational program where students can see—and optionally touch or hold—live animals and animal pelts. Participants learn the differences between mammals, reptiles, and other animals, how to identify venomous and non-venomous snakes, and why protecting wildlife matters. The program encourages respect for animals and teaches how everyday actions, like preventing litter, help keep wildlife safe.

Accompanying Adults
This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted. Children 11 and above do not require an accompanying adult.
Photo Release Policy
Photos or videos may be taken at Library events and activities for Library use in promotion and publicity. Anyone not wanting to have their photo taken should notify Library staff at the time of the event or activity.
Registration for Minors
Parents/guardians must provide their phone number and/or email when registering any attendee under the age of 18.
