Welcome to a pleasant afternoon at the Library. We'll have good books and good people to discuss our monthly novel. 

This month's book is...

There Are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Shafak.

This historical novel connects three main characters through a single drop of water across time and continents. The story follows a Victorian London apprentice who translates the Epic of Gilgamesh, a Yazidi girl in 2014 Turkey fleeing persecution, and a modern-day hydrologist in London, exploring the themes of ancient civilizations, the persecution of the Yazidis, and the interconnectedness of people and nature.
