Join us in the American Veterans Auditorium as we discuss The Good Left Undone by Adriana Trigiani. This multigenerational family saga is centered on the Cabrelli family in the Italian coastal town of Viareggio. The story, which spans decades and includes World War II, focuses on Matelda, the matriarch, as she reflects on her life and the stories of her ancestors, particularly her mother Domenica. Matelda shares these stories with her granddaughter, Anina, as she grapples with her own mortality and the legacy of her family. The novel explores themes of love, loss, family secrets, and the enduring power of storytelling.
